Hailing from the Czech Republic, Dark Guide is a project forged in the deep, powerful roots of death metal that shaped its members. This debut record is a testament to that uncompromising sound, delivering crushing riffs and intense atmosphere.
The lyrical themes on the album draw frequent inspiration from the rich, immersive worlds of Role-Playing Games (RPGs), inviting listeners to delve into dark, compelling narratives.
The music was composed entirely by Miroslav Havelka, who also co-wrote the lyrics alongside Nami. Both artists also handle all vocal duties on the album, bringing a dual ferocity to the performance.
